Because of the addition of the new ThyssenKrupp steel mill in Mobile, Alabama, we have added Baumer-Hubner to our selection of products. The original Baumer Electric line is already familiar to many industrial customers in the U.S. They have an extensive assortment of proximity sensors, photo-electric sensors, and laser sensors. The Baumer-Hubner product line represents a joint venture in Europe that provides various heavy-duty encoders for steel and paper mills. We have added the Baumer-Hubner line so we can support the German based ThyssenKrupp facility along with other Alabama and Mississippi manufacturers using European built machinery.
